Bingham Cooperative grew and became known for its agricultural services. Over the years, discussions about growth and competition led to a merger with CHS Cooperative in 2006. This merger was about combining Bingham’s local expertise with CHS’s resources and technology. It was also about improving efficiency, expanding technology access, and creating more market opportunities for Southeast Idaho farmers. The partnership brought about significant benefits, strengthening the regional agricultural economy. Bingham continued to expand, reinforcing its commitment to the Idaho farming community and remaining passionate about supporting local agriculture.
In 2021, CHS’s Bingham Cooperative was acquired by Brad Hall Companies, a diversified conglomerate based in Idaho Falls with a strong presence in agriculture, fuel, and energy. As a result, the acquisition brought enhanced resources and financial backing while still preserving Bingham’s core values of serving local farmers with integrity and personalized service.
Additionally, with Brad Hall’s support, Bingham Cooperative—renamed Bingham Ag Services—expanded its technological capabilities. Specifically, it introduced advanced services such as precision farming tools and sustainable energy solutions. Consequently, the acquisition further strengthened Bingham’s position as a regional leader in agricultural services.
