In 2006, after careful consideration, Bingham Cooperative merged with CHS Cooperative, a prominent national player in the agricultural services sector based out of Minnesota. This merger combined Bingham’s deep local knowledge and customer-first approach with CHS’s extensive resources and technological advancements. The partnership brought enhanced supply chain efficiency, expanded access to cutting-edge farming technology, and greater market opportunities for farmers in Southeast Idaho. In 2021, CHS’s Bingham Cooperative was acquired by Brad Hall Companies, a diversified conglomerate based in Idaho Falls with a strong presence in agriculture, fuel, and energy. The acquisition brought enhanced resources and financial backing while preserving Bingham’s core values of serving local farmers with integrity and personalized service. With Brad Hall’s support, Bingham Cooperative, renamed “Bingham Ag Services”, expanded its technological capabilities, offering advanced services like precision farming tools and sustainable energy solutions. The acquisition strengthened Bingham’s position as a regional leader in agricultural services, ensuring continued growth and success while maintaining its deep ties to the farming community.
