CHS Fixate® provides both water conditioning activity as well as pesticide enhancement.
CHS Fixate contains an ingredient that when added to the spray water reacts with bicarbonate ions in the water to form both nitrogen and sulfate. The nitrogen combines with glyphosate (and other pesticides) to improve the uptake and translocation of glyphosate. The sulfate combines with impurities in the spray solution (calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium and other salts) to prevent them from combining with the pesticide and antagonizing the pesticide.
CHS Fixate lowers the pH of the spray solution which allows specific pesticides (especially glyphosate) to be more active and less likely to interact with salts in the spray solution.
CHS Fixate contains a penetrating nonionic surfactant that not only helps improve coverage on the plant but also improves deposition throughout the spray canopy
Application Directions
Typical use rate is 2 qt/100 gal of spray solution • 1-2 qt/100 gal for fully loaded glyphosate herbicides
2-4 qt/100 gal for partially or unloaded glyphosate herbicides
1-2 qt/100 gal for most other herbicides
